| The Capmatixx AI-80 capping machine is made of three main components: the tightening station, the cap chute and the cap feeding system.
Originally, this equipment was designed to operate as a semi-automatic machine on any production line. The capper, which includes a stainless steel floor stand, a motorized starwheel for product handling and a pneumatic chuck system for cap tightening can be integrated to your existing conveyor. The operator just needs to position the cap on the bottle before it penetrates the tightening station.
A constant torque and avoiding the manual tightening of caps are among the benefits of using the equipment as a semi-automatic, but a full time operator is still required. Adding a device for sorting and feeding the caps (vibrating bowl, centrifugal bowl or sorter-elevator) and a cap feeding chute allows the equipment to run automatically.
Fingers at the chute end maintain the caps, which are aligned in the feeding chute. The containers pass through chute area while maintained by the motorized starwheel and strip caps out of chute fingers. The caps are then tightened at the required torque by a pneumatic rubber chuck. |
